This course is designed for Police Officers who may be required to operate in a maritime environment.
  Maritime Ops covers small boat Ops, tactical beach landing and can cover casting and recovery operations. 
 This is a rigorous physically demanding course designed for individuals to attend from their agency but can also be taught to an agency as a group

Day 1

Introduction to the course 1 hr
Swim test 1 hr
Confidence exercises 1 hr
Water survival 1 hr
Introduction to surface swim equipment 1 hr
Marine hazards 1 hr

Day 2

I Introduction to the F-470, Capsize/Crew drills

 2 hr
500 meter(m) surface swim 1 hr
ZODIAC Driving Course 2 hr
Waterproofing equipment 1 hr
1000m Surface swim TBD

Day 3

Beach Landing Site (BLS) procedures 2 hrs
1500M Tactical BUDLINE swim 1 hr
Harbor Surveillance 1 hr
Night BLS procedure   PRACTICAL EXERCISE TBD

Day 4

2000m Tactical BUDLINE swim

2 hrs
Planning considerations for Maritime Operations

4 hrs
Field training exercise

Day 5

3000m Buddy team swim 3 hrs
Recovery and Maintenance 2 hrs
After action review/ Course critique
