These courses are designed for Police Officers who may be required to
operate in a rural environment. Rural Ops covers basic military tactics and contains principals
that are applicable in any environment. These courses are either
designated basic or advanced, the difference is advance techniques are
used in the land navigation practical exercise and the length of the Field
Training Exercise. These courses are designed for
individuals to attend from their agency but can be taught to an agency as
a group.
